During the month of February 2023, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team identified Donald Cunningham as a source of narcotics supply to residents of Ventura and Los Angeles County. On July 5, 2023, Investigators with the Ventura County Fentanyl and Overdose Crimes Units (VC FOCUS) concluded an investigation into a narcotics delivery service that was responsible for supplying fentanyl and other drugs to Ventura County residents. On June 4, 2023, deputies with Camarillo Patrol Services responded to a battery that occurred in the 1700 block of East Daily Drive, in the City of Camarillo. Upon arrival, deputies located a male victim who had been severely battered. The male victim was transported to Saint John’s Pleasant Valley Emergency Room where he was treated for his wounds.
