Thousand Oaks – Pedestrian Safety Enforcement Operation

Ventura County – Graffiti Investigation Leads to Recovery of Multiple Firearms & Narcotics

On September 20, 2022, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters Patrol deputies arrested Carlos Apodaca, Alexis Munoz, and Alissa Tejada for various charges, including felony evading, felony firearm violations, street terrorism, and conspiracy to commit a crime during a graffiti vandalism investigation in the unincorporated area of Ventura known as Saticoy. Ventura County – Narcotics Arrest

Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation targeting the drug trafficking activities of a former Oxnard resident Jose Delgado. During this three-month investigation, Detectives learned Delgado was working within a larger drug trafficking organization (DTO) responsible for the distribution of bulk quantities of methamphetamine, heroin and counterfeit prescription medications containing fentanyl to residents of Ventura County.  Jose Delgado coordinated these drug shipments and deliveries from Tijuana Mexico.  Investigators learned this DTO was responsible for the smuggling [...]

Ventura County – Unlawful Firearm Activities and Conspiracy Arrests

On September 9, 2022, Sheriff’s Gang Unit detectives arrested Rickey Reveles in Oxnard for various firearm, narcotics, and graffiti vandalism violations. Ventura County – Firearms Manufacturing Arrest

On September 15, 2022, at approximately 1745 hours, detectives with the Sheriff’s Gang Unit conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the 1200 block of North Ventura Avenue, Ventura for a vehicle code violation.
