Ventura – Guns and Narcotics Found During Probation Search

Narrative:
On November 30, 2018, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Gang Unit conducted a probation search in the 200 block of Walnut Drive in the City of Ventura, at the residence of Gregory Ledbetter. Ledbetter is a convicted felon with ties to a local white supremacist criminal street gang. During the performance of the probation search, deputies located a 20 gauge shotgun, ammunition, a large quantity of methamphetamine, Xanax pills and heroin. Ledbetter was not present at the time the probation search was conducted and never returned to his residence after the Sheriff’s Gang Unit conducted the search.

On December 5, 2018, the Sheriff’s Gang Unit located Ledbetter hiding inside of a residence in the 8000 block of North Bank Drive in the City of Ventura. Ledbetter was contacted and arrested for firearm and narcotics violations without incident.
