On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 4:20 PM, Ventura County Fire Department and Naval Base Ventura County Fire Department responded to Dune Beach on Pacific Coast Highway, for a deceased person who came ashore. The unidentified male subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the situation and began the initial investigation.
