Ventura County – Arrest of Identity Thieves

In March of 2022, deputies assigned to the Todd Road Jail Classification Unit began an investigation into pin thefts related to inmate accounts. As deputies began their complex investigation, they learned that over 50 inmates incarcerated within the Ventura County Jail system had their inmate accounts compromised.
