Zendejas

81-1097: Rachel Zendejas

On January 18, 1981, the body of Rachel Zendejas (11-20-60) was found by two newspaper delivery boys in the carport area of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Mobil Avenue in Camarillo. Rachel’s body was across the street from the apartment building where she resided. Rachel had been sexually assaulted and strangled by an unknown suspect. Her murder is connected to the 1980 murder of Lisa Gondek which occurred in Oxnard.
