Narrative:

At about 6:50 a.m., deputies responded to a suspicious circumstances call. The caller reported possible human remains in a trash enclosure near the 300 block of Townsite Promenade in Camarillo. Major Crimes detectives are on scene investigating.

Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Detective Michael Marco at 805-383-8739.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance and requesting anyone with videos or photographs from the incident to upload files to investigators at https://venturasheriffca.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/camarillohumanremainsfound.
The files are logged as digital evidence but contact information is not stored. Those submitting media can remain anonymous.
