|During the month of September 2018, a Thousand Oaks resident suffered a non-fatal heroin overdose that required medical treatment to prevent the incident from becoming a fatal overdose. The Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit (PCU) was called in to assist with the investigation which ultimately led to the identification of Jose Huete as the source of supply of a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin to residents of Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
On November 28, 2018, detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit (PCU) assisted by the Ventura County East County Street Narcotic’s Team and the Simi Valley Police Department concluded a two-month narcotic investigation into Jose Huete.
